The best care, for every patient, every day.

Clinical Research — Napa Pain Institute, with its clinical research trial partner Neurovations Clinical Research, is recruiting patients for two new trials:

Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) — if you have intense pain, usually in the arms, hands, legs or feet, often after an injury, either to a nerve or to tissue in the affected area, you may be a candidate.

Chronic Pain of the Amputated Leg — if you have severe pain of your lower extremity after amputation, including phantom pain, you may be a candidate for a clinical study involving a new, investigational, pain relieving device.

At the Napa Pain Institute, our mission is to inspire hope and contribute to health and well-being, through integrated clinical practice, research, and education.

Dr. Eric Grigsby founded Napa Pain Institute in 1992, now the region's leader in evidence-based patient care and clinical research. Our sister company, Neurovations, provides clinical research support, Continuing Medical Education programs, and clinical laboratory services in the fields of Pain Management and Neurologic Disease.

Dr. Eric Grigsby, Dr. Ramesh Singa and our dedicated team of clinical and management professionals are here to help you, with more than 25 years of experience in the management of chronic pain. Learn more about our clinical care team here

We first seek a thorough understanding of the origin of patients’ pain, and offer the latest techniques for treatment. We are dedicated to long term management of chronic pain and neurologic conditions, helping patients coordinate their care with other clinical professionals. In addition, we prescribe medications and offer several minimally invasive procedures for pain relief.
